A luxury barn conversion on Lee Barton farm,
converted from a barn conversion during 2009. On the edge of fabulous Coombe
Valley, a favourite for ramblers. Only a few miles to the glorious beaches
at Bude. A walk down (about 2 miles) through Coombe Valley to Ducks Pool
beach and beauty spot. Continue along the beach or coastal footpath all
the way to Bude. Bude beach has a huge free open air beach
swimming pool, glorious beaches and excellent surfing.
Situated on Lee Barton dairy working farm this
cottage is an excellent position to stay, in a character setting.
Roomy rear patio area with table and seating, also suitable for children
to play in. Farm play field with goal posts & swings. A few minutes
walk over to coarse fishing on the farms small lake.Tench, roach and carp.
A second pond, not with fish, dates back to mediaeval times and was
originally used as a carp pond by monks in the 12th century and is one
of the oldest carp ponds in the country. The pond has now been set aside
as a nature sanctuary and migratory birds including ducks commonly make
an appearance. Great for both having a picnic or for quiet fishing.Enjoy
walks on the farm, through the woods etc. There are thirteen acres of woodland.
There are 3 bedrooms. One bedroom has 1
double bed & an en-suite shower room with shower, washbasin & toilet,also
having a T.V.
A second bedroom with 2 single beds. A third
bedroom with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath, overhead
shower, toilet and washbasin. Very roomy downstairs open plan living
area. Kitchen in living area with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer,
washing machine & dishwasher. In the lounge/dining area is a widescreen
T.V. & DVD. Heating by wall mounted electric radiators
in all rooms including bedooms with a feature electric fire in lounge
area (a woodburner affect fire) . There is adjacent off the road parking
space for three cars. No pets please.
