Resort town of BUDE

One of Cornwall's favourite beach resorts.  A peaceful resort town  amidst  unspoilt countryside.  Magnificent  classic sandy beaches, beach and coastal path walks.   At low tide the beaches combine allowing miles of beach &cliff walks.  Bude is well known as a surfers destination, Crooklets beach being the main surfing beach. Surf board hire  & equipment-surf championships are often held here.  On main Summerlease beach is the huge free open air swimming pool. Great for dog owners- pets are welcome on Summerlease & the main beaches along this stretch of coastline (the exception being  Crooklets beach).  Boating hire (rowing boats(  and walks  along Bude Canal (bird sanctuary Nature Reserve, with a cafe at the end of the walk!).  Bude is a town with  lots of  restaurants,cafes, often described as 'the peaceful part of Cornwall', a much quieter alternative to the much busier resort of Newquay.
